DOSAGE

Soil application: 2-3 kg /ha or 1-1.5Kg/ acre along with processed cowdung, vermicompost or any other organic manure

Seed treatment: Suspend 250 gms in 50 lit of water & soak 50 kgs of seeds for 1hr as per std. wet treatment

Seedling treatment: Suspend 250 gms in 50 lit of water & dip the roots for 30 min before planting

Foliar spray: Mix in sufficient water (1kg/200L) and apply thoroughly @1Kg/acre, 2-3 times for one crop

BROADCAST DRY IF INFECTION IS ALREADY THERE

Green house: Suspend in water (1Kg/ 200 L) and apply @200 ml/ cubic mt of greenhouse potting mix

Trichoderma viride

A fungus and a biofungicide.

How it works

The mycelium of T. viride can produce a variety of enzymes, including cellulases and chitinases which can degrade cellulose and chitin respectively. The T. viride mould can grow on fungi, the cell walls of which are mainly composed of chitin. It parasitizes the mycelia and fruiting bodies of other fungi.

As Bio-fungal Shield

T. viride is useful as a biological control against plant pathogenic fungi. It provides protection against pathogens such as Rhizoctonia, Pythium and even Armillaria. It is used for seed dressing and soil treatment for suppression of various diseases caused by fungal pathogens including Rhizoctonia solani, Macrophomina phaseolina and Fusarium species. When it is applied at the same time as the seed, it colonizes the seed surface and kills not only the pathogens present on the cuticle, but also provides protection against soil-borne pathogens.

Pseudomonas fluorescens

A common Gram-negative, rod-shaped bacterium and can be found in the soil and in water.

How it works

This bacteria has the unique ability to enter the plant vascular system, reach the various parts of the plant system and induce systemic resistance in the host plant, so it can better resist attack by a true pathogen. The bacteria produce compounds antagonistic to other soil microbes, such as phenazine-type antibiotics, siderophores and hydrogen cyanide.

As Bio-fungal Shield

P. fluorescens present biocontrol properties, protecting the roots of some plant species against parasitic fungi such as Fusarium or Pythium, as well as some phytophagous nematodes.
